While Kanye West has publicly professed his thoughts on the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s reluctance to honor Kim Kardashian on their prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame, another reality star is supporting the organization’s eligibility criteria.
During an interview with The Jasmine Brand, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Kandi Burruss admitted that reality stars such as Kanye’s fiancée don’t deserve a star based off of their television fame.
“To me, I don’t really see – not just for being a reality TV star, you have to be doing something other than reality just in order to get a star on the Walk of Fame,” she said. “I mean to me, with reality, they’re just being themselves and acting a little crazy. But the people who are on the Hollywood Walk of Fame – to me, they’ve really worked hard to earn that. So I don’t know about…that’s different.”
Although the former Xscape singer has struck upon success with her Bravo reality series, she has also nailed a Grammy Award for writing TLC’s 1999 hit single, “No Scrubs.”
