Demi Lovato Talks Learning To Interrupt On 'The View'

Demi Lovato sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for a far more structured conversation than the last time they met up in a talk show setting. Last week, Demi Lovato sat in with the ladies of "The View," and Kimmel was one of their guests. Lovato explained how there was a bit of a learning curve when it came to co-hosting "The View."

"It's kind of difficult because if you don't interrupt you're not going to get your question in," Lovato explained. The problem was that on her first day, she didn't want to be rude. "The first day i was silent because I didn't want to interrupt Barbara Walters," she explained. "Who wants to interrupt her?"

By the second day, though, Lovato said she had it down. "I found that I was asked a question, I began answering the question and someone else would ask another question before I had even come close to answering the question," Kimmel said of his experience on the show as a guest.

"I was probably that person," Lovato admitted.

Demi Lovato can be seen every Wednesday and Thursday on "The X Factor" at 8 p.m. EST on Fox. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on ABC.
