Age is not the only number of note when it comes to Tim Duncan. The San Antonio Spurs' veteran superstar capped a historic 20-20 performance with the game winning shot in the final second against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.
With the score even 100-100 with 4.7 seconds left, the Spurs smoothly executed an inbounds play that resulted in Duncan draining the game-winning jumper near the free-throw line. The basket, which dropped through the net with 0.4 seconds remaining, capped a 23-point, 21-rebound game for the 14-time All-Star.
Duncan, at 37 years, 221 days old, became the oldest player in NBA history to record a game with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds, according to Elias Sports.
