Graham Elliot Weight Loss: Chef Drops 128 Pounds In 4 Months

Chef Graham Elliot Reveals Incredible Weight Loss

Chef Graham Elliot looks quite different these days. In July of 2013, the "MasterChef" judge and award-winning chef underwent a weight loss surgery, and a photo he tweeted today reveals the dramatic results.

Before his gastrectomy, Elliot told People that he had battled with his weight his whole life, and at almost 400 pounds, was having trouble getting in and out of a car, tying his shoe and playing with his kids. On deciding to get the surgery, he told People, "This is what I need to do for my family.”

By September, Elliot had lost 91 pounds. In his tweet today, Elliot shared that he now weighs 268 pounds, down from 396 pounds before the surgery. In addition to resisting fatty foods, the chef has built exercise into his life.

He started slowly at first: he jogged his first mile without stopping in September, and by the end of November, he ran his first 5K. (#Babysteps, he tweeted while training).

Next, Elliot has his sights set on the Chicago Marathon.
