A Cappella Group Stranded At Airport Delights Travelers With Carols

When a Colorado-based A cappella group became stranded at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport due to a freak ice storm, the singers gave frustrated travelers a real holiday treat by performing Christmas carols.

A video clip posted on the band's Youtube page showed the band, known as Face, singing "The Little Drummer Boy," "O Holy Night," and "We Three Kings" (Watch the clip above).

"We got stuck here for a few hours, even though we can't be with our families right now," said singer Cody Qualls in the video. "Which would be nice because my wife is very pregnant -- we still got to connect with people in Texas, so (thumbs up)."

According to a report by KDVR, Qualls' wife was due at any time, but luckily they made it home in time.

Since Saturday when the A cappella group was stranded, almost 3,000 flights were canceled out of the the DFW International Airport because of the storm, which forced about 650 people to stay the night in cots at the airport on Sunday.

"When life gives you lemons, sing," said one of the band's members at the end of the video.
