Mayor Bloomberg Joins Jimmy Fallon To Write Some Thank You Notes

Bloomberg Helps Jimmy Fallon Write Thank You Notes

On Friday's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," Michael Bloomberg dropped in to help Jimmy Fallon pen some thank you notes to New York City.

"I've only got a couple weeks left of my job and I'm running behind a bit," the outgoing New York mayor told Fallon. "So you mind if I sit down and write some thank you notes with you?"

Fallon's Thank You Notes segment, which he typically performs every Friday, was adjusted a bit to reflect the end of Bloomberg's 12 years in office.

"Thank you, Jimmy Fallon, for bringing 'The Tonight Show' back to New York," Bloomberg said. "The city that never sleeps, unless it's watching your monologue."

Fallon had a couple jokes at Bloomberg's expense as well. "Thank you, Mayor Bloomberg. As a billionaire in a big city, you had the choice of becoming mayor or Batman. You chose mayor," he said.

Michael Bloomberg's last day in office will be December 31.
