Ashley Tisdale called in to "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" today (Dec. 16) to talk about her new song "You're Always Here" and dished out some details about her upcoming wedding.

The singer got engaged to fellow musician, Christopher French, this summer and has yet to set a wedding date. The couple only dated for eight months before their engagement, but Tisdale knew it was right. "…I think from the moment that him and I met, I just knew it," she told Seacrest of their connection.

The former Disney star wasn't looking for a serious relationship when she met her now fiancé. "I had no idea and I did not think that would happen and I was just so focused on other things and then suddenly it just kind of hits you," she explained.

Tisdale compared her romance with French to her previous relationships, saying, "It’s just natural between us. With other relationships, you’re trying too much and trying to make it work and then there’s just a moment when you find somebody and you’re like, ‘Holy s**t! This is so natural.'"

The couple has been looking for a house in Los Angeles, as they prepare to take the next steps toward settling down together.

For now, Tisdale is finding the fun in wedding planning. She told Seacrest, "We want to make it] as small and as private as we can get it."
