From Miley To Royal Baby, 2013 Through The Lens Of The 'Sassy Seniors'

The year 2013 was an exceptionally bizarre and eventful year when it came to celebrities and all things pop culture -- but not everyone is impressed.

HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker sat down with a group of "sassy seniors" to get their take on overexposed celebrities, the "Breaking Bad" obsession, and the selfie.

Here are some of the highlights:

On Miley Cyrus: "I feel sorry for her," said writer Alice Carey, while boutique owner Lynn Dell Cohen was less sympathetic, saying the year has been one endless publicity stunt for the starlet.

On "Breaking Bad": "I liked it because it had white people selling drugs," joked author and activist Isaiah Reed, "which is as rare as an upside-down stamp."

While some older people say they were addicted to the chronicles of the meth-cooking high school teacher, some of the seniors said they don't bother with TV which can become a major time suck.

On the Kardashians: "The family has no talent. They can't sing, they can't act, but you know what? They're so clever. They have merchandised themselves," Carey said. We (and Barbara Walters) couldn't agree more.

The seniors don't pull any punches and even President Barack Obama wasn't out-of-bounds. Watch the video for more hilarity.
