It seems that Anderson Cooper is not an easy guy to get in touch with, and Kathy Griffin is not happy about it.
"I have a lot to talk to you about," Griffin said Monday night on "Anderson Cooper 360." "I think you know what I'm referring to-- you hurt someone's feelings."
In what turned into a hilarious, fake feud, Griffin explained that she and Ryan Seacrest had tried to "face time" Cooper several times to organize a dinner before New Years Eve. Cooper and Griffin will team up once again for a live New Years Eve special on the big night.
But apparently, Cooper had better things to do than meet for dinner, and Griffin accused him of blowing them off.
"I am now Team Seacrest instead of Team Cooper," she said.
Griffin read from their emails just to set the record straight:
"Anderson Cooper says, and I hope all of CNN can see this, 'Hey, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do dinner. I get back on the 30th but I have to be on-air that night till 11. Looking forward to seeing you,'" she read. "That is a blow-off!"
Cooper quickly tried to change the subject, but got himself into even more trouble.
"Are you looking forward to New Years Eve? I'm looking forward to being teamed with you again, slash, dreading it a little bit," he said.
"Okay, the 'slash' was really not necessary," Griffin fired back.
