ESPN's Chris Fowler Says Jesse Palmer Saved His Life With Heimlich Maneuver At Pinstripe Bowl

The most dramatic play of the Pinstripe Bowl apparently didn't happen on the field. Perhaps more surprisingly, it was made by player who hasn't appeared in a college football game since the 2000 season.

ESPN's Chris Fowler tweeted that his partner in the broadcast booth, former Florida quarterback Jesse Palmer, saved his life with the Heimlich maneuver during halftime of the college football bowl game in New York City. Fowler and Palmer were at Yankee Stadium on Saturday calling the game between Notre Dame and Rutgers.
