Celebrity fitness trainer Joel Harper had some fascinating information to share with us regarding weight loss myths.
"There are no quick fixes! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!" he laughed. The biggest myth is that weight loss is a quick, easy fix. Joel insists that quite the opposite is true: it takes consistency, discipline and persistence.
"A lot of people are trying to tell others what to do to lose weight, but most people already know what to do on the inside anyways," Joel shared. Another interesting fact: "You can actually only lose two pounds a week healthily."
Joe's final tip: get off the couch and get active! "If you’re reading about fitness, you’re wasting your time." In order to lose weight, it's up to you to motivate yourself to get up, get active and get in shape.
