Tricks To Kicking That Sugar Habit, From Joel Harper (VIDEO)

Celebrity fitness trainer Joel Harper is a self-proclaimed dessert lover, but he has mastered a few tricks to keep his sweet tooth in check.

As a rule of thumb, Joel will allow himself two "cheat" snacks a week, whether that be a piece of candy or a red velvet cupcake he's been craving. Before reaching for the sweets though, he'll try a piece of fruit instead. "If I have a kiwi or a good banana or orange, it will sometimes satisfy a sweet tooth," he said.

By swapping in a healthy, sweet snack like fresh fruit, you can kick your craving for the real sweets altogether.
