Although the number of Black Friday and Cyber Monday holiday shoppers were up from last year, retail sales were disappointing. The National Retail Federation reported that 141 million shoppers, two million more than last year, spent 3.9% less per average sale. “With limited budgets this year, holiday shoppers will continue to make very thoughtful decisions about when and where they shop the remainder of the season, making sure to compare prices and keep up with retailers’ advertisements for special sales,” said Pam Goodfellow, Director, Prosper’s Consumer Insights. - See more at:
