Here's a fantastic bit of video from last night's BCS title game. It actually comes from the Florida State radio booth where play by play man Gene Deckerhoff (whose voice you may also recognize from his work calling Tampa Bay Buccaneers games) and former NFL fullback and FSU grad William Floyd were calling the action.
It's a rare shot of what it looks like when the hometown radio team calls a national championship winning touchdown.
How incredible is it that Deckerhoff can keep his focus on the play when his own partner and others in the booth are busy celebrating and hugging one another? The audio is in the background of the clip, but it's a great call considering the stakes involved. And, a cool reminder that in the end, we're all fans.
