David Cassidy, 'Partridge Family' Star, Arrested For DWI For The Second Time In Six Months

'Partridge Family' Star Arrested For DWI, Again

Actor David Cassidy has been arrested for driving while intoxicated, according to TMZ. This is the second time in six months that the "Partridge Family" star has been arrested for driving under the influence.

Cassidy had reportedly been driving in Los Angeles when he was stopped by police Friday night (Jan. 10). TMZ writes that the 63-year-old had a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .19 -- more than "twice the legal limit" -- when he was arrested.

In August, Cassidy was arrested for driving while drunk in upstate New York. He was charged with a felony DWI at the time due to a prior conviction. According to the Times Union, Cassidy's lawyers are still working out a plea deal and had adjourned the case to Jan. 31.

Shortly before his August arrest, Cassidy's stepmother, singer Shirley Jones, is said to have described the 70s star as "a troubled man who has demons he's been struggling to conquer," per TMZ.

According to CNN, Cassidy had previously been arrested in 2010 for drunk driving in Florida.
