Denver, Seattle Newspaper Front Pages Delivered Super Bowl News With Manning, Sherman (PHOTOS)

LOOK: Newspapers Around The Country Deliver 'Super' News

The newspapers in the Colorado and the Pacific Northwest were bearers of super tidings on Monday: The Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks are heading for Super Bowl XLVIII.

The front pages of the newspapers serving those regions hailed the local teams that emerged triumphant the NFL's Championship Sunday. Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and Seattle Seahawks cornerback were the faces of victory.

The title game results delighting readers in Denver and Seattle was treated differently in New England and the Bay Area. There the headlines conveyed heartbreak and frustration. Images of a downtrodden (but not facepalming) Tom Brady replaced Manning in coverage of the AFC Championship Game but Sherman managed to hold the spotlight when it came to the NFC's title tilt.
