It was a meeting fans had been waiting forever for on "Pretty Little Liars." Alison is alive, and she was ready to meet with one of the girls face-to-face. “I’ve missed you so much," Ali told Emily during their clandestine meeting. "You have no idea how hard it’s been to stay away.” She asked Emily to help her find 'A' so she can come back home. She certainly seems convinced it was A who tried to kill her.
Unfortunately, their reunion didn't go much further, as Spencer showed up and scared Ali off. "Had Spencer ... not totally ruined the moment, they probably would have kissed," wrote Hollywood Life's Andy Swift. "Not much came of Emily and Ali’s meeting, except Emily now knows that Ali believes ‘A’ is the person who’s been trying to kill her all this time. (Is this news?)”
The Stir's Rebecca Stokes was annoyed too ... at Spencer. "It's a case of completely understanding Spencer's motives (Ali is not a wench I'd ever trust -- and let's not even discuss Shana) but also wanting to slap your forehead in despair," she wrote. "She said it herself: Ali could sense Emily pulling away. So maybe sneaking up on the duo and causing Emily to get on Ali's bad side was a terrible idea Spencer, ya think?"
