Man Pulled Gun On Girl Scout: Cops

Could it have been the Thin Mints?

A California man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly pulled a gun on a Girl Scout. The adolescent was selling Girl Scout Cookies to homeowners in Temecula when she knocked on the door of a property on Strawberry Tree Lane, according to local reports.

The man who answered allegedly pointed a gun at the young salesgirl shortly before noon. Police said the girl's father, who witnessed the incident, then called authorities.

John Dodrill, 59, was taken into custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said in a statement. His weapon was seized as evidence in the case.

Bail has been set at $25,000, the Riverside Press-Enterprise notes.
