'Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.': Stan Lee Cameo Finally Happens

'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.': Stan Lee Cameo Overshadowed By Shooting

It was a Marvel project, and yet something was missing. On the latest "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," though, things were put right. After all, what is a Marvel live-action production without a cameo appearance by Stan Lee?

During a covert operation on a train, Lee appeared as a kindly older man who sympathized with the elaborate cover story Simmons had created. It was a light moment in an episode that got dark very quickly. By the end of the hour, Skye had been shot and was put into a hyperbaric chamber awaiting medical attention.

E! Online's Leanne Aguilera loved the guest spot, though she added, “We wish that they had asked [Lee] to be in an episode that was less action packed so that his part could have been a teeny tiny bit bigger."

Now that the Stan Lee cameo is out of the way, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is a real Marvel property. New episodes are scheduled to return on Tuesday, March 4 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
