Here's What Happens When You Start Dating Too Close To Valentine's Day

For some, Valentine's Day is a holiday spent with that special someone, whether it's a swanky dinner date or canoodling at home watching Netflix. (Both are equally enjoyable with a best friend or significant other.) However, the notoriously overhyped holiday can sometimes turn the pressure on for new couples.

From some of our favorite funny people Michelle Markowitz, David Ross and Stephen Parkhurst, comes the "V-day" video that epitomizes the differing expectations couples often run into on Feb. 14. From unrelenting Lo-Fi filtered roses and #soblessed Instagram hashtags, to bad Spotify playlists masquerading as gifts, this video sheds light on the inevitable miscommunication between new couples.

"It's local, it's organic, it's everything she needs," Ross says as he seductively rubs his chest. A few apartment buildings away, his new girlfriend is hoping for a wedding proposal in Paris. To each his or her own, right?

Whether you have a very special someone this Valentine's Day or you're flying solo, we feel #soblessed that our holiday plans don't involve any new beau or belles.
