Starting with last night's Opening Ceremonies, it's safe to say the biggest Winter Olympics fans among us may be tempted to spend a little too much time on the couch.

Luckily, the athletes at the top of their game are more than a little inspiring. And while you're probably not about to head out to the backyard for a little luge or skeleton practice, many of the other winter Olympic sports are easily-accessible for the average weekend warrior.

Below are a few of the events you (yes, you!) can partake in, plus how many calories you can expect to burn doing each one. (All counts are approximate and based on a 150-pound person.)
