Sunday night was Part 1 of the 2-part "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" proposal spectacular. In other words, this was the one with all the build-up and no payoff. At least we got to see the family trying to keep a secret from Kim, who can be very nosy when she wants to know what's going on.
When Kanye's camp called Kris and told her to get her brood to San Francisco for the big "birthday surprise," the family grew suspicious. Kanye said they had to wear black tie. "That doesn’t make you nervous? You don’t wonder what it’s for?” asked Khloe. "In my gut, I feel like something big is about to happen."
Khloe was certain this was more than a birthday celebration, and she was absolutely right. After all, we already know that Kanye rented out AT&T Park in San Francisco and had a 50-piece orchestra play Kim's favorite song as part of his elaborate proposal.
We know it, but we won't get to see it until next week's episode. "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on E!
