Most States Don't Have Laws That Can Help People Who Are Overdosing

In the U.S., drug overdoses are responsible for more deaths than car accidents, but in almost two-thirds of states there are no laws for helping people survive an overdose.

Some states are even considering rejecting the use of medicine designed specifically to reverse an overdose.
