Actor Mark Ruffalo joined HuffPost Live Thursday morning to discuss a range of topics on water conservation, from regulation to fracking. Ruffalo founded Water Defense, a group that advocates for safe drinking water.
During the talk, he expressed support for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who recently voiced his opposition to fracking in New York State. Ruffalo also passionately spoke about the recent chemical spill in West Virginia and coal ash spill in North Carolina, and how politicians and industry members have not been transparent with the public about water testing results.
