Rep. Ed Pastor (D-Ariz.) announced he will retire this year.

The 11-term Congressman wrote on his Facebook page that he would not seek reelection in November:

Roll Call reports Pastor called his time in Congress "a great honor, a great experience and a great joy" in a statement.

"I think it’s time for me to do something else," Pastor said.
