George Lopez Arrested For Public Intoxication

George Lopez was arrested for public intoxication on Thursday, Feb. 27, according to TMZ.

The comedian fell asleep on the casino floor at Caesars Windsor in Canada, with law enforcement sources telling TMZ that officers subsequently arrested him after security alerted them to the situation. No charges are being filed against Lopez.

Lopez did release a humorous statement about his arrest, however, telling People, "Tied one on last night. Not feeling great this morning. I was trying to sleep it off; unfortunately, it was on the casino floor."

The 52-year-old star of the FX show "Saint George" had performed at the casino earlier in the evening on Thursday and was scheduled to do another show Friday night.
