New 'Senior Caucasian Correspondent' Jordan Klepper Makes 'Daily Show' Debut

Meet The New 'Daily Show' Correspondent

Monday's "Daily Show" offered a rare treat in the introduction of the first new correspondent since Jessica Williams joined the cast in January 2012. After a segment on the crisis in the Ukraine, Jon Stewart turned to new "Senior Caucasian Correspondent" Jordan Klepper for more insight.

The particular insights Klepper gave, however, had less to do with Putin's invasion of Crimea in the wake of Yanukovych fleeing Ukraine and more to do with how terrifyingly intimidating it is to be a new "Daily Show" correspondent.

Since the departure of John Oliver, whose HBO show debuts April 27, the "Best F**&#ing News Team Ever" has consisted of Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, Aasif Mandvi and Jessica Williams. Occasional contributors include Larry Wilmore, Lewis Black, John Hodgman and Kristen Schaal.

Klepper has been a performer with the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater in New York for the last three years, where he frequently collaborates with his wife, Laura Grey, as duo "Klepper & Grey."

Check out his adorably awkward debut above and his web series "Engaged" with Grey below.
