U.S. swimmer Mallory Weggemann reflected on her painful but ultimately rewarding journey to the London 2012 Paralympics during a visit to HuffPost Live on Wednesday. The 24-year-old, who became paralyzed from the waist down in 2008 after receiving an epidural injection for her back pain, won gold in the women's 50-meter freestyle S8 event. She dropped by the HPL studio with pro-surfer Bethany Hamilton to discuss their new documentary, "The Current," that showcases accomplishments of people with disabilities.
