According to TMZ, the company has been "touting Liotta's 'before and after' pics and taking credit for the results, saying the Goodfella turned back the clock thanks to their wonder cream." Liotta denies ever using their product.

A request for comment made to Liotta's rep was not immediately answered.

The "Goodfellas" actor, 59, is not the first star to file suit in such a case. Last December, Lindsay Lohan reportedly planned to sue the makers of the video game "Grand Theft Auto V" for using her likeness in promotional material. In July 2013, Rihanna sued British retailer Topshop for selling shirts bearing her picture without permission.

Liotta's face will grace the big screen in the highly anticipated "Muppets Most Wanted," in theaters later this month.
