Leslie Nielsen's Photoshopped Head On A Pregnant 'Demi Moore' Is Still Glorious

This 'Naked Gun' Pun Gets Us Every Time

It's been a while since someone reminded us of the infamous Leslie Nielsen-Demi Moore mashup that made it all the way to court, but if there's anything Reddit is good at, it's resurfacing these old gems.

Reddit user ItzMTH93 uploaded this framed photo of Nielsen's head photoshopped onto a naked, pregnant body with the caption: "By far the best find at the Thrift store today." Best indeed.

The picture, of course, is a spoof on the original Moore photo, which was talk of the town some 23 years ago. Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, who shot Moore for the August 1991 cover of Vanity Fair, sued for copyright infringement after the Nielsen satire was released by Paramount Pictures. To create the image, which was used as a promotional photo to support "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult," the studio pasted Nielsen's head on the body of a model who shared an eerily similar appearance to Moore.

The suit was dismissed, The New York Times wrote in 1996, when the judge ruled "the 'Naked Gun' ad was clearly a parody."
