Chelsea Clinton, Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, has made her marriage a top priority, and she had some excellent tips to share with us about how she’s able to find the right balance.
“My marriage is incredibly important to me,” Chelsea said. “It’s the place from which I engage in the world every day, and the place to which I return every day.”
Even when both Chelsea and her husband Marc are both busy at work, they prioritize spending time together. “Every week, we make sure we have one date night together,” she said. The couple also made a pact to never go more than two days without talking to each other about their day.
“The little things like that are really important to the discipline of maintaining strong communication and bonds,” she said.
