Choosing a paint color can be tricky, to the point where people will keep whatever's up on the walls (even if they hate it) just to avoid the challenge of gathering swatches and samples. Inaction is always easier than change. However, the challenge is even more pronounced for renters, who have to factor in landlord approval before even glancing at a paint sample deck.

It takes a skilled design eye to see the kiss of blue, hint of gray and suggestion of warmth in the below hues. Not that they aren't gorgeous, of course.
