After making the move from California to New York, Lindsay Lohan was in search of an apartment she could call home. The troubled actress lived in a New York City hotel room for more than a month before finally finding a place she loved -- a process captured by the cameras on her new docuseries, "Lindsay." However, cameras also capture some tense moments between Lindsay and the production team, which threaten to derail the purchase of her dream home.
In order to put down the deposit on her chosen apartment, Lindsay asks the production company filming the docuseries for an advance. However, because Lindsay hasn't committed to a shooting schedule, director Amy Rice and executive producer Craig Piligian question her commitment, candidly voicing their concerns.
Rice explains to Lindsay their hesitation in giving her the money. "There is a fear, Lindsay, that we're not going to get this footage from you," she begins.
Lindsay resents the assumption. "I've been up since 8 a.m. ready to go! I was ready!" she argues. "You can't pull that s*** with me anymore!"
She insists that she has been professional during filming. "I have given you no reason to feel that... I was not ready to get on that set and do what I was supposed to do," Lindsay says. "So until I f*** up, you can't assume I am going to."
From the phone, Piligian jumps in. "Lindsay, my worry is that I'm not going to see you for another week. That I'm not going to see you for a month. That you're not going to show up," he says.
"That's not fair," Lindsay says.
Craig continues. "As soon as we give you what you want, my worry is--"
Lindsay interrupts. "Craig, there is nothing in that mentality for me to gain," she says. "If I were to do that, I lose and you lose."
