Many Americans may not have ever heard of Bhutan, but Ben Henretig, author of "The Happiest Place," thinks it's time for that to change.

In an interview with HuffPost Live's Caroline Modarressy Tehrani, Henretig explained that if Americans would be happier if they took a page from the Bhutanese people.

"People in the west are feeling more lonely and disconnected," he said. "The pace [in Bhutan] is much slower. You find that the Buhtanese feel deeply connected to one another, and also to a sense of collective purpose."
