No matter how much time we spend looking at them, there is something magical about the human eye. Whether you consider it the window into the soul or simply another miraculous feature of the human face, few can gaze straight into another's eyes unmoved.
Filmmaker Benjamin Lebeau took this principle, amplified it and pressed fast forward in his mesmerizing montage "Looking Glass." In the course of three minutes hundreds of eyes flash before your -- well -- eyes, inviting viewers to experience the trippiest eye contact of their lives. Lebeau filmed the epic short at UCLA, later enhancing the dizzying effect with the musical stylings of Dan Deacon's "Alight Spiral Snip."
