Pharrell Williams Teams Up With Adidas Adding Yet Another Fashion Collaboration To His List

You'll Get A Kick Out Of Pharrell's Next Fashion Collabo

Pharrell Williams is adding yet another fashion collaboration to his growing list of partnerships.

Adidas Originals has announced that the "Happy" singer will be designing a line for the brand this coming summer.

With projects already in production with Comme des Garçons, G-Star jeans, Moncler and a t-shirt collection with Uniqlo -- Pharrell certainly has his hands full but he's excited about the new venture.

“It’s an amazing opportunity to work with creative people who understand where I’m coming from and respect my taste while having access to great technology and an amazing brand history,” the 40-year-old star told WWD.

With so much focus on Pharrell's latest endeavors and fashion statements ( the infamous Grammys hat anyone?), we almost forgot that he's got his own line of clothes, Billionaire Boys Club, and just dropped an album, "GIRL." But if you ask him, he's got everything under control.

“I’ve had my own brand for 10 years now and had a deal with another company in the past so it will not affect anything, especially since I have the right team around me to help manage these projects,” he told WWD. “Music will always be my first love and what I focus on, but I’m really appreciative to Adidas for allowing me to further develop and understand my design dreams.”

And the feeling is mutual. Dirk Schoenberger, the global creative director at Adidas’ sport style division, says “Williams is a pop-culture icon that never fails to inspire, not just through his musical talent and craft, but through his many other interests. He is the perfect fit for the multifaceted company that is Adidas."
