Emma Stone Is Vogue's May Cover Star And Still Doesn't Think She's A Style Icon (UPDATED)

Emma Stone may frequent best-dressed lists and act as a muse to Woody Allen, but that doesn't mean that she isn't modest, especially when it comes to her role as a style icon.

The "Amazing Spiderman 2" star is Vogue's May cover girl, and even though we're not totally digging that hat, there is no denying her high fashion appeal. Stone, however, thinks of herself a bit differently. In fact, according to her interview, she almost finds the fact that she has any influence on style comical. When asked, she peered down at her yellow shoes and said “No, I’ve never thought about that,” adding, "though it would be supercool if everyone started wearing yellow leather shoes."

Based on the photos from her spread alone, we think it's safe to say she has more of a style impact than she realizes.

We'll have to wait to get our hands on the mag until April 29, but for now, head over to Vogue to see the entire shoot, and check out the cover below. What do you think of her look?

UPDATE: Thanks to the keen eye of one of our editors, it's pretty clear that Ms. Stone has been a fan of the newsboy cap for quite some time. Check out her Vogue UK cover from back in August 2012:
