Al Gore Playing Father Of The Bride Is A Sweet Sight To Behold

Coffee Shop Patron Spots Very Famous Father Of The Bride

Larry Nimmer was sitting at his local coffee shop in Carpinteria, Calif. on Sunday when he looked out the window and saw a wedding taking place outside.

A man was walking his daughter down the aisle, and not just any ol' man. The father of the bride happened to be none other than former U.S. Vice President Al Gore.

Nimmer -- a CNN iReporter who runs a website called EveryoneHasAStory.org -- caught some footage of the low-key nuptials on his iPhone, which you can watch above.

In it, Gore's daughter Sarah is seen tying the knot with real estate agent Patrick Maiani under Carpinteria's Wardholme Torrey pine tree, the largest Torrey pine in the world. Afterwards, guests headed over to nearby Crushcakes & Cafe bakery for the reception.

When Nimmer asked Gore for a few words of marriage advice, the former V.P. politely declined to comment. Nimmer later realized that Gore is separated from wife Tipper (oops!), who was also in attendance, according to the New York Post.
