Adam Levine Might Not Be Back For The Next Season Of 'The Voice'

Is Another Coach Leaving 'The Voice'?

"The Voice" might have yet another big shakeup next season.

After announcing Pharrell would be sitting in CeeLo's old chair and rumors of Christina Aguilera's replacement circulated last week, it now seems yet another coach might be leaving the show.

Stopping by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" yesterday, Adam Levine hinted at what fans can expect when the show returns next year. The Maroon 5 frontman all but confirmed Gwen Stefani would indeed be occupying Shakira's seat next season.

"I'm so excited about both of them," Levine said when asked about Pharrell and Stefani's coaching jobs. "Gwen Stefani is merely speculative, that's what I'm suppose to say. But Pharrell I can talk about because he's for sure. But they're both incredible and it's going to be a blast."

As for whether Levine himself will be making another appearance on the show, the singer gave yet another evasive answer.

“I might be there, but who knows” Levine said after DeGeneres suggested that he might be currently negotiating. "I gotta find out. I usually ask the people what I'm supposed to say.”

He then added, “I'm checking my schedule.”
