These Ducklings Think This Man Is Their Mother, And They'll Follow Him Anywhere

An act of altruism after tragedy has led to an oddly heart-warming moment.

Matthew Sargent posted this video showing 13 ducklings following a man around in unison and appearing to believe that he is their parent. Sargent writes about the background for the unusual, captured-on-camera circumstances:

The neighbor rescued 13 duck egg when the mom was killed. He put them in his incubator and they all hatched and imprinted on him.

While we're sure the unidentified man probably never expected to become a parent to 13 ducklings, he does appear to be taking the new role in stride.
