What Oprah Refused To Believe About Turning 60

Oprah may have turned 60 this year, but she's not letting a number define her. During "Oprah's Lifeclass" with Bishop T.D. Jakes, she discusses how the milestone gave her a new outlook.

"It really was a number that caused me to have the deepest reflection and pause, because I could see the rest of the world making judgments about it," Oprah says about turning 60.

"I rebuke it," she says. "I see that if you allow the rest of the world to define what they think 60 is, then you will end up depressed."

This advice isn't just for 60-year-olds. Oprah says to define your life on your terms, whether you're 56 or 72.

"You get to put on your leopard print and walk out the door," Oprah says. "Yes, you do!"

"Oprah's Lifeclass" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on OWN.
