Stars Of 'Glamour Goes South' Explain Why They Swapped LA For A Simpler Home

The Big Move That Changed This Interior Designer's Life

Michelle Workman was an interior designer to the stars when she and her husband Justin decided to pack up their LA family and relocate them down south. They joined HuffPost Live to discuss their new living arrangements, in addition to their new Design Channel series, "Glamour Goes South," which documents their move.

"The first time she said 'Chattanooga' to me, I was like, 'Absolutely not. No way. You're crazy. I don't even know what that is,'" Justin recalled.

Today the Workmans are proud Tennessee residents, but Justin, the CFO of website FileRight.com, did make note of a few things he missed.

"I long sometimes for kind of a bigger city and city life," he said. "Just that action, and noise and all the things people hate about the city that I miss -- the constant noise, and people who actually honk their horns."

The same can't be said of Michelle, however, who called her husband "crazy" for missing those facets of their former hometown.

"Everybody else comes out to visit us, and they're like, 'Oh, this is so beautiful and relaxing and quiet,'" she said.
