How Spending Time At Home Can Help You Thrive

Despite her success as a radio personality, television star and published author, media maven Wendy Williams claims that it is her normalcy that helps her thrive. She joined HuffPost Live this week to continue the conversation initiated by Arianna Huffington's latest book and conference on redefining success and living a life of well-being, wisdom, wonder and giving.

"I spend an inordinate amount of time at home," Williams told host Marc Lamont Hill when asked about how she thrives. "I love our home. It's not a gigantic home -- there's nothing special about it other than that it's our home. I keep it clean, I keep it stocked, we keep it private... Those types of things, leading a normal life, gives me a quality of life that's indescribable."

Williams insists that her resume isn't who she is. "I'm just Wendy from New Jersey who happens to have a extraordinary life steeped in normalcy," Williams said. "The normal keeps me happy, the normal keeps me grounded."
