Jimmy Page To Grads: 'Music Has So Much Power ... I Pass That On To All Of You'

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page kept it short and sweet when he was given an honorary degree at the Berklee College of Music Saturday in Boston.

Page briefly reflected on his early days as a session musician, working to eventually end up leading one of the most revered rock bands of all time. Berklee is the largest independent college of contemporary music.

"Music has so much power across so many avenues," Page said. "To be in a position where you've done the thing that you're pretty much best at, which is making music, and bringing joy and pleasure to other people, it can't really be much better than that, can it? I pass that on to all of you."
