This adorably honest 10-year-old has a lot of questions about boogers -- from when it's okay to pick your nose in public to what exactly the medical term for boogers are, which she wasn't too impressed with.
Rowan joined HuffPost Live's Josh Zepps to discuss the slimy and gross truths about boogers. When asked whether it's okay to pick your nose in public, Rowan didn't think a yes or no answer sufficed.
"Well it depends on what kind of public," Rowan said. "Because I’ve seen lots of girls in my class pick their nose. But, if you're on like a movie set, no. But I think it’s okay if it’s really bothering you. But, if people want to just do it for fun, it can be really embarrassing."
Rowan also got the chance to speak with Dr. Mark Bowan, an ear, nose, and throat surgeon. One of her best question for him was: "Um, well, have you ever picked your nose?"
"That is a very tough question for a nose doctor to answer; but, yes everyone picks their nose at some time or another," Bowan said. "I try not to, and if I do I try to use a Kleenex or something on my finger so that I don’t put any boogs up in my nose from my hand."
