Any country that has Blue Ivy as an honorary citizen is automatically awesomer than other places. But Croatia's also totally winning thanks to its stunning landscape, chic port towns, awe-inspiring national parks and party isles.
Here are some places you'd be remiss not to hit up this summer.
Vis
It's a relatively under-the-radar option for wine fans and seafood lovers...not to mention people who like nature. 
Krk Island
One of Croatia's largest islands also happens to be super busy in prime summer months. And there's good reason why: It's landscaped is varied, the beaches are pristine and the towns are full of activities.
Hvar
It's the sunniest of all the islands and also one of the most luxurious (think super yachts and high-end hotels). It's also drop-dead gorgeous. So just go be with all the crowds. There's a reason they're there.
Dubrovnik
The city has immense history, great food and beautiful scenery. What's not to love?
Trsteno
Just north of Dubrovnik sits the delightful gardens of Trsteno. Make a day trip out of it. 
Plitvice Lakes National Park
Sixteen lakes make up this stunning park in the middle of the country. Beware: swimming in these insanely beautiful waters is not allowed.
Istria
The area has been called "the new Tuscany" and it's not hard to see why. There are hilltop villages, such as Motovun (below), seaside towns and delicious Italian-ish food.
Rovinj
This is THE Istrian coastal fishing town you simply can't miss. 
Zlatni Rat Beach
Come to nearby Bol for the old town, stay for this beach. It's one of the country's most famous beaches, so you'll be stunning yourself with your favorite strangers.
Zadar
People used to skip this Roman-era city and that's a shame (it is a great jumping off point for Adriatic island hoppers). There's great architecture, a few interesting monuments and a pedestrian-only Old Town. 
Elaphite Islands
Day trippers make the trek here to these car-free islands (only three of which are inhabited). Head to Lopud for a laidback escape. 
Zagreb
There's a vibrant art scene in this inland city, but don't be fooled: there are pubs and outdoor activities to take part in, too.
Mljet
It was here, on this heavily-forested island, that Odysseus supposedly lived for seven years. Hit up Mljet National Park.
