Students at Santa Barbara High School in California recently hired a mariachi band to follow their principal around as a senior prank.

The musicians greeted Principal John Becchio in his office and followed him around for an hour, according to local outlet KSBY-TV.

The school district posted a video of the incident on its YouTube page:

As NBC's "Today" points out, West Linn High School in Oregon pulled off a similar prank in 2013, when students paid to have a mariachi band follow their principal around for three hours.
