Nothing Offends Marlon Wayans, Including Justin Bieber's N-Word Video

Why Marlon Wayans Thought Justin Bieber's N-Word Video Was Funny

Comedian Marlon Wayans was recently scrutinized for intentionally skewering the name of African cities while hosting the MTV African Music Awards, but that doesn't bother him. Nor does the infamous video of Justin Bieber singing racial slurs, he said in a HuffPost Live interview on Tuesday.

"I'm growing still," Wayans affirmed. "I know I'm gonna offend some people, and that's okay."

When host Marc Lamont Hill asked if anything ever offends him, the host of TBS' "Funniest Wins," said no without hesitation.

"I giggled at Justin Bieber's nigga joke," he said. "People are so sensitive nowadays. It's like, I grew up in the projects of New York City. My white friends would do that all the time. Unfortunately Justin, 'ya know, did that probably to a couple of his black friends, and that's just the way people talk."

"It's hard being a celebrity," he added. "And it's hard just being real. Celebrities are just people too."
