Retired Col. Rob Maness (R), who's running against Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) along with the more prominent Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), released his "Contract With Louisiana" in the city of Houma on Tuesday.
His contract has 12 points, but the fourth one is quite peculiar.
"During my first hour in office I'll pop the door off the hinges. Too many crooked deals happen behind closed doors in Washington. I will maintain an open office -- accessible to Louisianans over lobbyists," it reads.
HuffPost Pollster has Landrieu leading Cassidy, Maness and state Rep. Paul Hollis (R) ahead of the open primary. If no candidate receives 50 percent of the vote, the top two vote-getters will advance to a Dec. 6 runoff.
This story has been updated to include state Rep. Paul Hollis and to clarify the election process for the seat.
