Accused Naked Burglar Molests Little Girls In Police Standoff: Cops

A California man was arrested following a police stand-off at a San Jose home Monday.

Cops said a naked Victor Manzanares broke into the house through a back door while a mother and her three children were home, and the father had gone out to get them lunch, according to KTVU.

Once inside, the 33-year-old suspect allegedly approached and inappropriately touched each of the couple's two little girls. The girls' father, Alan Le, told the station that the intruder kissed his 10-year-old's face, and licked the face of his 12-year-old who, was sleeping on the couch.

The children fled, but cops say Manzanares stayed and began ransacking the house. The children's mother called police to report the break-in, which led to a 90-minute standoff in which the suspect barricaded himself inside the home, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

Le returned to the house to find cops with guns surrounding it. For a panicked moment, he had no idea if his family was alright. He tried to get into the house, but police would not allow him.

Le said Manzanares tried to blow up the house by turning on the gas from stovetop burners and a heater.

"He just turned it on," Le told KTVU. "There was gas everywhere, and if he lights it in there that's it. Kaboom."

Manzanares eventually surrendered and was arrested. He faces charges of burglary and resisting arrest, plus two counts of annoying or molesting a child and one count of committing lewd or lascivious acts with a minor.
